Taehyung
*The next morning*
I woke up from my sleep with Alina right in my arms. She was clinging onto me while Jimin hugged her from behind. They were both fast asleep, looking absolutely adorable.
I sat up carefully but stopped as my nose caught the first whiff of the change in her scent. I gasped as I looked at Alina. My heart started to race and I felt my eyes begin to moisten. We were right about her being pregnant. I felt my heart swell with pride and love and I felt as if I could burst with happiness. I lowered myself back down as I moved closer to her.
I rolled her shirt up carefully so not to wake her just yet. I placed my hand against her tummy and looked at her. She moved, slightly but smiled at the warm feeling. I let out a ragged breath as a single tear rolled down my cheek. I moved my hand slightly so that it covered most of her tummy.
‘Wah I can’t believe it,’ I murmured to myself. ‘There’s another life here, a life created out of love,’ I said. ‘I can’t wait until the others find out too. Everyone is going to be so happy to know about you little one,’ I said.
I removed my hand and lowered myself down. My legs and feet were sticking out of the bed so that my face could be close to her stomach. ‘I love you so much already little darling. I know you can’t hear me but I still want to say it,’ I said as I kissed her tummy.
I sniffed, a little louder than I intended and I heard Jimin waking up with a slight groan. I sat up carefully as I looked at him, waiting to see his reaction.
He sat up, eyes still almost closed as he looked at me. ‘Tae? Are you crying?’ he asked as he yawned.
‘I’m okay. I’m better than okay actually,’ I said while Jimin smiled. He rubbed his eyes and sniffed the air and suddenly he froze. His hands fell from his face as his eyes grew wide.
He took another sniff before he turned to me. His eyes grew even bigger and his mouth fell open. ‘Is…is she?’ he stuttered while I nodded.
‘Yes, her scent changed. She’s pregnant again,’ I said. Jimin squealed loudly, not caring about waking her up, unable to hide his happiness. I didn’t dare to shut him up as he got off the bed and started jumping around while Alina started waking up.
‘Wh—what’s going on?’ Alina asked as she looked at me. I took her hands in mine and brought them to my mouth. I kissed her hands while Jimin jumped onto the bed.
‘BABY!’ Jimin called as he quickly cupped her face and crashed his lips against hers, making me laugh quietly. She laughed into the kiss but kissed him back until he pulled away and just looked at her.
‘Are you two going to tell me what’s going on? I mean I love seeing you happy, but…’ she said as she looked at us curiously.
‘Do you feel any differently lately?’ I asked her. She looked at me and shrugged.
‘Just tired and…’ she paused as she looked at me and then at Jimin. She gasped, her hand flying to her mouth. ‘Are you suggesting that I am pregnant?’ she asked.
‘Your scent changed suddenly like it did with Minho but there’s no mistaking it. It’s the same scent you carried when you were pregnant with Minho and with Soraya. It’s that very sweet but very unique smell love,’ I said.
‘Ohh goddess,’ she said as her hand went to her tummy. She looked down as she let out a choked sob. I smiled as Jimin quickly put his hand on hers and I put mine on both of theirs. ‘We’re having another pup?’ she asked again.
‘Yes love, we’re having another pup,’ Jimin said as he kissed her cheek.
‘I want to surprise the others. I know you guys were speculating but they don’t know yet, right?’ she asked and I shook my head.
‘Not really. Yesterday we did speak about the possibility but we were saying how your scent hadn’t changed yet,’ I said.
‘Not to mention they were a bit preoccupied with helping the Choi brothers move in with Taehyun and Huening Kai,’ Jimin explained.
‘I’m glad they’re staying. They did seem like they needed a good home,’ she said with a smile. ‘Anyways, I want to surprise them but I’m going to need your help,’ she said.
‘What do you have in mind?’ I asked. She giggled in response as she looked at the two of us.
‘I want to go to that lake that we love going to and have a picnic there but you’re going to have to tell them to meet me there,’ she said.
‘Well, you’re definitely not going to go there alone. You can forget that,’ I said to which she rolled her eyes.
‘I’m going to be fine and I can protect myself, remember?’ she asked as she clicked her fingers and a little tongue of fired appeared and then disappeared.
‘We know how capable you are. Trust me, we’re not saying you can’t kick ass because we know you can, but yesterday you used your healing powers which caused you to faint so no risks. One of us comes with you and the other brings the others,’ I said while Jimin nodded in agreement.
‘I think it’s actually better if Taehyung goes with you. He can protect you better than me,’ Jimin said. I felt a pang in my heart because even though Jimin has come over many of his insecurities, he never stopped himself as being weaker than the rest of us and as such as not worthy enough of protecting Alina, Minho and Soraya.
‘Yah don’t say that!’ Alina said as she hit Jimin on the chest. ‘You’ve always protected me well,’ she mumbled with a pout.
‘She’s right Chim. I may be an Alpha which makes me stronger, but you’re just as protective and I know how much you would protect her,’ I said.
‘Maybe, but I’d feel better if she’s with you Taehyung, especially since she’s carrying our pup now,’ Jimin said as he looked at me. I nodded, knowing I was not going to win this battle.
‘So what do you need us to do?’ I asked, turning to Alina who giggled happily. She was definitely radiating happiness.
‘Hmm I want us to go to the lake and prepare a picnic. Maybe Jimin can ask Jin and Yoongi to prepare some food. You and I can decorate the area with some balloons or ribbons,’ she said getting truly excited.
‘We can pass by Lisa’s house. She always has the party thins,’ I said.
‘That’s true. Everyone in the pack always goes to her for stuff like that,’ Jimin said. ‘You probably need to leave soon if you want to set up the area,’ he suggested.
‘He’s right. The moment he tells them you want us to have a picnic, they’ll want to rush to you,’ I said, laughing.
‘I know. Ahhh I can’t wait to tell them the good news. Wait…what if they’re not happy?’ she asked suddenly, her face falling. Jimin and I both looked at one another and then at her.
‘Are you serious?’ I asked in disbelief. Then again, I knew pregnancy tended to bring a lot of doubts, fears and insecurities along with the many positive things. ‘Don’t worry baby. They’re going to be over the moon princess,’ I said.
‘Trust me when I say, we all want a huge family with a lot of pups running around,’ Jimin said, side hugging her.
‘We love you and our family Alina,’ I said as I kissed her hand as well. ‘Shall we prepare to get going?’ I asked and she nodded.
